UPDATE: Jevonte P. Wattley aka 'JD' found!

CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI – Our news centre can confirm that Jevonte P. Wattley, who was reported missing, has been found.

Mr Wattley was reportedly located unharmed this morning, January 27, 2023.

It is unclear at this time where Mr Wattley was located and why family members were unable to contact him.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF), through its media liaison Diane L. Drayton, also confirmed to our news centre that Mr Wattley has been found.

According to the RVIPF, Head of the Criminal Investigation Department Unit Chief Inspector Israel Sergeant noted his appreciation to the public for the concern and responsiveness to this missing person’s report.

Police seeking help in locating missing Jevonte P. Wattley aka ‘J.D.’

Officers at the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 24-year-old Jevonte Wattley, aka ‘J.D.’ of Cane Garden Bay who was last seen since Wednesday, January 25, 2023. 

According to the police, Wattley did not return to his home after work last night as is customary, however, was seen leaving his workplace at the RiteWay Supermarket in Pasea at about 11:00 am yesterday.

Family or friends have reported that they have not seen him since Wednesday.

According to Police, Wattley also did not report to his workplace this morning, January 26, 2023, an is described as a dark male, about 5”7 in height and wears glasses. 

Police further related that on Wednesday, Mr Wattley left home for work dressed in a black shirt, red hoodie, long track cotton pants, wearing glasses. However, he was last seen wearing a green T-shirt with blue sleeves, black long jogging pants, and black crocs leaving work.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Mr Wattley is being asked to contact the RVIPF through its access number 311 or the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339 or 368-9593.

    You all just brainless I can clearly remember as a child I did this leave from home because my parents was strict . He's young it's happens the mother or father got him mad and he left who knows but clearly it none of you all business to want to know why,stop acting like you all didn't do the same thing
