UPDATE: Filipino man complained of chest pains before collapsing

This was related to Virgin Islands News Online by a saddened member of the Filipino Association, Mr Louie R. Boblete this morning March 16, 2015.
Mr Boblete said Lab Technician attached to Peebles Hospital, Mr Arthur Lamberang, collapsed with chest pains at a game at the Save the Seed Energy Centre on Sunday.
“He called for a time out and then suddenly he had a chest pain. We tried to press his chest but after the foul he collapsed,” said Mr Poblete, who added that the game was the first of the day in the Filipino Basketball League.
Boblete recalled that Lamberang was off the court at the time of collapsing. “So he was not playing. He played and then after that he called for substitution, and then after that he took a rest and then after that I think there was a foul and then he fell down and that’s it.”
According to Mr Poblete, Lamberang was rushed to Peebles Hospital some two to three minutes after collapsing but succumbed shortly after reaching the health care facility. “I am really, really sad because he is one of my good fellow. He was really loyal and he was a very hard working guy.”
