People are clearly suffering from Covid. However, is stealing from someone worth it? If you need food there is the Family Support Network. The Basic necessities are food, clothes (not expensive Polo and Gucci) and shelter. STOP ROBBING PEOPLE!! If you need help just Say so! I am sure there are persons that will be willing to help you even in these dark times and HUSTLE. Sell some something that is NOT illegal. STOP DISGRACING US!!!!

We must watch our surroundings diligently before exiting our vehicles or opening our doors to enter. We never had to live like this for all of these years, and now these punks are making our safe haven a living HELL! We should be allowed guns to blast them to hell if they try to enter our homes. If the know we are armed, they would be hesitant to keep trying these home robberies. I am so glad they did not hurt the victims, and I hope they catch them very soon. When people become victims of crimes, it robs them of enjoying peace and freedom to come and go safely.

You really sound insane. By trying to help some of these young people don’t only mean offering them a job or money. Sometimes it means giving them advise and guidance. I often speak to a young man in my Community about different little jobs that I hear about or maybe he should take a class at the College or find a trade. His answer to me was he don’t like to read or he is not working for chump change. Lot’s of people try to help the youths but the youths is not listening.

It is only fair you mention where these couples works the same way you mentioned the VG robbery and where the man works. All articles should be treated the same. You might not post this comment but I know you will read it and understand where I am coming from. In the end a company where a person works has no business to be included in any article. I hope the couple that was robbed are doing ok and that these robbers are caught!

Totally agree, then you have the parents who know they are raising little demons and choose to turn a blind eye to their wrongs. Come on now, if you pay close attention to your children you can read them like a book and see and know what they are capable of doing or not doing. SHOOT FIRST AND ASK QUESTION AFTER IF ANYONE COME IN MY HOME TO ROB ME. Honestly, one or more of the house robbers is going to pay a very price soon.

The criteria for obtaining a licence are specifically spelled out in the Firearms and Air Guns Act, mandating that potential gun owners complete a certified training course, have a clean criminal record for five years, and pay an annual licensing fee.
Moreover, the law states that people whose firearms licences aren’t renewed can be compensated when they turn their guns over to authorities.

No such provision exists for firearm owners who are denied exemptions.

Any guess or knowledge about the profile of these wanted criminals? Would help those who are on the lookout for a chance to contribute helpful info. A basic description would help, given the fact that the VI is now a diverse place of colour creed and ethnicity. Wouldn,',t want to guess, based on past and current alike activity. Mamas and papas would then become pretentiously righteously offended.

No guessing necessary. We all know the profile of the dregs. Truth .
BVI is its own destroyer. Throwing pearls at pigs is no way to honor blessings. The Bible speaks against this in Ephesians.

Do you really think if these people owned a gun they would have been better off....? Really? They would carry it like Clint Eastwood right? Always ready. Idiots!

why are guns illegal for law abiding citizens? If I own a home or a farm, why can i not defend my property? Clearly, all the thieves and thugs have firearms, so why are we not allowed to defend ourselves? Are we waiting for the criminals to rape and kill people in their homes t take it seriously? Police don't even solve these crimes!
  • DEDE (21/09/2020, 08:28) Like (3) Dislike (0) Reply
So sad that these families had to go thru this. No matter the situation committing a crime does not solve any problem. If anything it makes it worse. People don’t fall for these nonsense, don’t let people trick you into believe your always a victim and this is your only option. Please I beg stop it. We have other pressing issues to be dealing with this.

    @ Crazy:
As a parent, I have come to realize that I cannot teach my children values and principles that I don’t believe in or practice. Children learn what they live. We are our children first teacher and when we fail at that the country suffers. Thus we have people like you and others trying to defend wrong. Always looking for excuses. A WRONG CAN NEVER BE JUSTIFIED.
Fathers absent from their children lived is of their own choosing. Committing crimes was their choice not others. From young we were taught right from wrong. Many of us just choose to ignore when it best suits us. We do things sometimes without thinking about the consequences. Sad part when children are involve they to suffer the consequences.
