UPDATE: Donalin Michel is Best of the Best Miss Gorgeous
Michel contested the Miss Gorgeous Easter Festival Pageant in 2014 and won the crown back then and, while it was no easy task for her, she outshined the other competitors last night to once again take another crown.
Michel and the other contestants, Vonda-Kay Johnson- Miss Gorgeous 2013 and Derese Henry- Miss Gorgeous 2009, according to several patrons, exhibited a high level of intelligence, class, beauty and intelligence on stage, making the night out “worth the while”.
Deanne George- Miss Gorgeous 1992- pulled out of the pageant at the last minute due to “unforeseen circumstances,” according to organisers.

Best of the Best Miss Gorgeous Pageant is tonight in VG
Best of the Best – Past Miss Gorgeous winners is set for tonight October 29, 2016 at the Catholic Community Centre in Virgin Gorda.
The highly anticipated pageant kick starts the official activities to mark the 50th Anniversary celebrations of Virgin Gorda Easter Festival.
“The reason behind us doing the pageant so early for a start is because we want to get the momentum going,” said chairperson of the Virgin Gorda Easter Festival Ms Sasha D. A. Flax.
Vonda-Kay Johnson- Miss Gorgeous 2013, Deanne George- Miss Gorgeous 1992, Derese Henry- Miss Gorgeous 2009 and Donalin Michel- Miss Gorgeous 2014 are the contestants in order of number 1-4 that are expected to hit the stage tonight.
The women will participate in a number of segments, including Introduction, Sexy Jeans Wear and Evening Wear.
This is one of approximately seven pageants organised for the 50th Easter Festival on the sister island and, according to Ms Flax, the next pageant is the Best of the Best Mr GQ for past Mr GQ winners. That will be followed by several other pageants, including Ms Bold and Beautiful, Prince and Princess Pageant, Miss Teen Virgin Gorda and Miss Virgin Gorda.
