UPDATE: Deceased Fort Hill man identified as Ruel Fahie aka ‘Fahie Boy’
According to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) in a press release today, May 17, 2020, at 2:29 pm on Saturday, the RVIPF received a report of an unresponsive male at his home in Fort Hill.
“Police responded and identified the deceased as Mr Ruel Fahie, a 54-year-old BVIslander. He was pronounced dead at the scene,” the press release stated.
It was also noted that investigations are ongoing in the matter.
Sixth District Representative Hon Alvera Maduro-Caines and Deputy Speaker and At Large Representative, Hon Neville A. Smith are some of the legislators who have sent out messages of condolences on social media since the passing of Mr Fahie.
VG deceased is Edis Hazelwood Bell
Meanwhile, the elderly woman who died on Virgin Gorda, also on Saturday, May 16, 2020, has been identified as Edis Hazelwood Bell.
Hazelwood Bell was found unresponsive after RVIPF officers were summoned to her home.

Man found dead @ Fort Hill; Elderly woman dies suddenly on VG
Information coming into Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that two people have died today, Saturday, May 16, 2020, in the Virgin Islands (VI).
According to sources, officers from the Royal Virgin Islands Police force (RVIPF) are currently on the scene in Fort Hill, Tortola, where the body of a man was discovered dead.
While details of the death remain unclear, the identity of the individual is known, however, will not be released until the relatives and next of kin are notified by the RVIPF.
Second death on VG
In another sudden death, this time on Virgin Gorda, an elderly woman was found unresponsive after RVIPF officers were summoned to her home today.
Police are currently investigating the cause of both deaths.

BVIHSA has lost their focus which is patient care. Their interest lies on and in other areas other than healthcare. So sad. They need to go back to the drawing board and rethink of the b!ll s**t they are doing.

It's time we have autopsy put back in place. And the government need to see this done... family members have a right for an autopsy, as to the cause of death of there love one's. And no more word of mouth from anyone.
