The first year was at Greenland and your point is? There are just some issues why there can not be used right now.

East Ender, could you imagine all the games that would have been posponed if the persons incharge did not use common sense to have an alternative venue? I will show up one day to watch a game or two but that is when Championship starts. Go 7th and 8th!

First of all Greenland field is what it is, a field with a basketball court and a softball area, it is not a gym. And in the words of East Ender- The first year games were played on the Greenland court. The problem is POPS, is that you are not informed in why the games were moved to Belle Vue. I suggest that if you would like to know, ask someone on the committee, ask the Representatives for the districts, ask the players, further more join the committee. But common sense tells me that you will not ask that most important question.

Now I am not a sport person so I cannot make the observation that you have made. But what you said is insightful to me. If you are saying that East End Players are who you see all over the place then there is a need for East End people to have their own league. It is clear to me that they have the numbers to do this. It is clear to me that East End has untouched tallent that others need to see, hence the need to have a league. It is also clear to me that you are not a traveled person because it does not mean that because a league is out of the 7th or/and 8th District means that it has to be played in the 7th or 8th District. Games can be played anywhere. No matter how you look at it there are only 2 places on Tortola where games like Basketball would be ideal to be played - at Save the Seed or at the Sport Complex. Every other place will have more minor to major challenges to deal with. BTW has it not been proven that over the years that teams from the East are some of the best when it comes to basketball? I am just asking....
