ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The body found in the waters of Road Town, the capital city in the vicinity of Maria’s By The Sea, is that of 47-year-old Vincent Warner of Tortola.

Family Members have been notified, and one member told our newsroom the deceased had been missing since May 26, 2025.

The late Mr Warner is described as having a slim build and a dark complexion, and was about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighed around 170 pounds. 

He is the son of Viva Ham-Warner.

Investigation ongoing

Police continue to investigate the circumstances of his death, while a family member, speaking anonymously to our newsroom, said Mr. Warner had mental health challenges.

We will bring more information as the story develops.  On behalf of our new center, we offer our condolences to his immediate family and other loved ones.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Police are investigating the discovery of a body in waters close to Wickham's Cay 1, Tortola, this afternoon, Friday, June 6, 2025.

It is unclear whether the identity of the individual is known at this time.

The body was found in the waters behind Maria's by the Sea and Ralph T. O'Neal Administration Complex.

      That's a clue here " miss seeing you on the port". Work from there. Could anyone say the last time he was seen there, at the Port , or near any body of water? Did he suffer a medical issue? Were there marks of violence on the body etc?

    Rest easy, Vincent. Yes, he had mental health issues, but he was a very polite and caring young man. A gentle soul, and a talented chef.

    Sad to see this is the way your life ended Boyie. Even though you had your challenges you were never a troublesome person, friendly if anything & always to yourself. If anyone remembers you would see him on the road walking with his dogs longside him & this goes back to when we were kids he loved dogs. Rest easy schoolmate????
