UPDATE: Body found ‘deemed to be beyond recognition’- RVIPF
And although a photograph sent to us by our Team of Reporters of the body found showed that it was not fully decomposed, police say the body was deemed to be beyond recognition.
“While items found suggest that the body may be that of Renold Peters, Police are not in a position to confirm the identity of the person,” police stated in a press release today, December 5, 2016.
It said, officers were called to the scene on Saturday by persons living in the area who reported a smell. “A search of the area by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force uncovered a body some distance into a densely bushy area. The body was deemed to be beyond recognition. Police have also not yet ascertained the cause of death.”
Meanwhile, sources within the RVIPF and those that saw the body told this news site they are positive the body is that of Peters.
Following an apparent domestic assault at a residence in the Crabbe Hill area of East End last Monday evening, Police had asked the public for assistance in locating Renold L. ‘Vince’ Peters, 51.
The female, who received severe wounds to hands, neck and body, continues to receive treatment at Peebles Hospital.

SVG man who chopped off woman’s hand found dead
Renold Leslie Peters, who police were seeking to apprehend after he brutally chopped a female school teacher, causing her to lose one of her hands, has been found dead.
According to reports reaching this news site, the body of Peters was found this afternoon, December 3, 2016, not too far from the area in East End where the chopping incident took place on November 28, 2016.
Police are treating the death of the man as a possible suicide.
Virgin Islands News Online had first and accurately reported on November 29, 2016 that a woman was brutally chopped about her body by a male assailant.
In a press release the same day, police said it was in search of a male suspect following an apparent domestic incident at a residence in the Crabbe Hill area of East End last night where a woman received severe wounds to her arms and body.
They had identified the suspect as 51-year-old Renold Leslie Peters, a native of St Vincent and resident of Spring Ghut. He was known by the nickname 'Vince'.
The female victim, reportedly a school teacher, is being treated at Peebles Hospital. At the time she was said to be in critical but stable condition.

And despite one SVG's failed attempt to say otherwise, it seems that these people have the same mentality. Even that one who wrote his article to try to say Don't stereotype, he got serious anger problems. So, watch who y'all dating. And keep the bleach and cleaning chemicals far because they can't take pressure.
Can we get these places correct when reporting as it seems everything happens in East End , even the Stucket is reported as East End. The police needs to learn these geographic locations so that they may report accurately.

You're an a$$. They were not married. And even if he felt he should have been paid for his input (if there was any), he should have taken her to court, not attack her brutally. Don't be an idiot.
