- makes appeal to ‘moved away’ customers as ‘new look’ CCT store officially reopens today
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Moments after cutting the ribbon to officially open the totally transformed store of Caribbean Cellular Telephone Ltd (CCT) located at Geneva Place in Road Town, Tortola, its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Averad Penn invited customers who had discontinued their services to return.
“…for those of you who would have left CCT and have gone to other companies it’s time to take a second look, time to come back home. We know of your frustrations and your frustrations have been heard and they are being addressed and it’s time to come back home,” said Mr Penn in an interview with this news site.
Penn further said, “Those of you CCT customers who have stuck with us we are trying to make you a better and better service. We are never satisfied… we are never gonna rest on our laurels. We are going to continue to be an innovating company.”
Penn said that the new store is a part of an ‘evolution’ of CCT’s $10 million investment. He said that to bring the store to what it is today, they have visited some of the leading telecommunications stores across Europe and North America. “We have been to some of the Apple, the Radio Shacks, the ATT stores, the T-Mobile stores and try to get some of that modern flavour of cutting edge telecommunication companies.”
CCT now carries a now tag line, “life unlimited”.

Their products are now on open display for customers to examine, LCD Screens circles the room showing advertisements of their products and services. “We got LED lights, natural wood etc. we keep it true to our Virgin Islands heritage but we also want to bring that modern flavour,” Mr Penn said.
Having had a period of letting go a number of staff in that latter of 2013, Mr Penn said that they have done fresh hiring. “We had to retool the company; we had to look for young people. Some of the people that we had before are still here but we have retrained and we are really trying to bring a whole new energy and character to CCT.”
Penn said that those hired recently are almost entirely from the Territory.
“We had to make a choice at CCT. We could have stayed the way we were and kind of quietly went away slowly and we decided that wasn’t good enough so we put a huge amount of energy and huge amount of investment into this company…” said the CEO.

Then if you come up with something better I'll come back. Not everybody has a CCT number and you cannot force people to get one either. Better marketing or you will lose more customers despite your new look. Our dollars have to S_T_R_E_T_C_H in these hard times.
But will the Problems improve? hmm.... stalled internet, calling someone and saying the person you are trying to reach are not in service? No signal? LIME LIME LIME is a lil better. I'll stick with LIME for the Time you all Improve.;)
