Meanwhile, Good Prospecting finished a disappointing fourth behind race winner News Carrier in the Bold Cleo Handicap. Twisted Dream finished in second place while St. Thomas’ Grazette’s Landing (on Debut) took the third place spot.

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Tortola horse racing pride rests on the backs of Ease My Mind, Graffalione and Good Prospecting today in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands when inter-island racing continues today December 9, 2012 at the Clinton E. Phipps Racetrack.
All three Tortola horses arrived on the island three days ago in search of glory on foreign soil.
The race card consists of 6 events.
Both East My Mind and Graffalione will run in the Bold Florence Challenge in a 6 furlong for a purse of $4,000. They will compete against debut horse St. Thomas’ Green Lite Special, Forman King and St. Croix’s Winning Actor. This race post time is 3 P.M.
Race number 6, a 1-mile race named the Bold Cleo Handicap, will see Tortola’s speed horse Good Prospecting going up against St. Thomas’ Grazette’s Landing (Debut) Twisted Dream and News Carrier. The purse is $5,200 and this race post time is 5 P.M.
The first race of the day is scheduled to get underway at 2 P.M.

While there has been a long delay in races on Tortola at the famous Ellis Thomas Downs, Inter- islands horse racing in the United States Virgin Islands on St. Croix and St. Thomas continues.
Races will be held on Sunday December 9, 2012 at the Clinton E. Phipps Racetrack.
In keeping with the spirit of inter-Island races, three Virgin Islands horses (Tortola) will be in St. Thomas to compete
There will be 6 races on St. Thomas on Sunday, where Tortola’s Ease My Mind of the Pleasant Village Stable, Graffalione owned by Alex Lake and Good Prospecting owned by Lesmore Smith of Top Priority Stable arrived in St. Thomas last night.

History- Tortola won the last big one
While not wanting to steal the thunder from Sunday December 9, 2012 races on St. Thomas, the last time Tortola was out in the USVI was on November 25, 2012 at St. Croix’s Randall 'Doc' James race track.
The Virgin Islands was represented by Really Uptown of L & B Stable who smoked out his competition Slevin to emerge the winner in record time in the Turkeyball Stakes.
Really Uptown finished in a new track record time of 1:29:00s flat ahead of Slevin and Burn the Harp.
Post time for this Sunday’s races at the Clinton E. Phipps Race Track is 2 P.M.
