UPDATE: Alleged school bully charged by police
The minor was charged yesterday, March 30, 2023.
She was granted bail in the sum of $2,000 and is to make her first appearance at the Magistrate's Court on May 11, 2023.
VINO had reported that the assault incident occurred at the Inter-Primary School Sports at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex.
In a short video shared with our newsroom, one female was seen physically and verbally attacking the other female.

Alleged female school bully attacks young girl @ school sports
-short spat filled with expletives happened in presence of young children & parents
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – A disagreement between two young ladies at the Inter-Primary School Sports at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, resulted in a short brawl between the two in the presence of other parents and young children gathered.
In a video seen by Virgin Islands News Online (VI), one female dressed in a striped armless dress was seen cursing and accosting another female dressed in a khaki brown outfit over an issue related to someone named ‘Sanjay.’
Shortly after, the female in the dress grabbed the other by the hair, dragged her into the open on concrete, and delivered a number of violent slaps in the presence of those gathered including children.
Children witnessed brawl
The defenseless girl was continuously dragged by the hair and slapped multiple times in the short video seen by our news center.
When the smaller built girl, who never sought to fight back, was first tossed to the ground, a small boy was also knocked to the ground.
And even as the alleged school bully continued to deliver blows, the girl appeared only interested in the welfare of the boy, who she then approached to find out if he was alright.
What is disturbing is that none of the adults present did anything to stop the fight.
Our newsroom was informed that the aggressor is a known school bully, who is on the list for expulsion.
Police have not responded to our request for a comment; however, unconfirmed reports are that police have become involved.

Where does she work? She looks overgrown. No body should hire her. And if she is a school child she needs a heavy flogging with a prickly whip.
Why have anti-bullying campaigns if it is not implemented year-round not just a day/week/month...it is just for show at that point.
PARENTS/FAMILY/GUARDIANS/COMMUNITY WATCH WHAT YOU SAY AND HOW YOU SPEAK TO AND AROUND CHILDREN.
YOU CAN'T BE USING FOUL LANGUAGE AT OR AROUND THEM, BEING VIOLENT, AND THEN EXPECT ANY BETTER OUT OF THEIR MOUTHS.

AS FOR THESE BULLIES - DON'T YOU EVER THINK OF MESSING WITH A CHILD OF MINE BECAUSE IT IS BALSAM GHUT YOU WOULD END UP - NOT A POLICE WARNING AND RELEASE!
Immediate termination of any adult employee present but did not intercede and finally mandatory psychological counseling for the young lady.

For example, the best friend of said child, could be terrible at fighting and scared might record it. Or it could be the bully's friend, or an adult who is an idiot, or a random child passerby. "In many cases", I see that you were not taught the topic "probability" in a statistics class.
The problem is, nowadays alot of parents with unruly children want everybody else to blame except themselves. Yal callin on the politicians to do WHAT??? Discipline ur child for u??? when half the time a bad fruit get disciplined and is the same parent wanna come and show they ar$e, and make that child feel like they're right and that behavior is correct. Plus and this is the big one if you are under 25 do not take any fling as the most important thing in the world. Get your education, travel, get a job and then think about a serious relationship. Your brain is just acting on hormones not common sense. Protect yourself, don’t get pregnant and get your life first.
For the adults who stood by and did absolutely nothing about the situation- You are the problem.
To the parents of the child who was violently attacked, file ac lawsuit against her parents and a restraining order.
That bully needs stiff penalties. This is unacceptable.

Why is there a " list" for expsulsion....you either get expelled or you dont. if you do something that warrents expulsion, you get expelled, same day. Thats like saying, this criminal is wanted for XYZ and we.ll get around to arresting when we get around to it. !!!

Comments like these it's how we are failing our youths today in our small communities. For the youths sake people , change up the comments, do better than this as adults.
Why should we think we should expect Teachers and Politicians to do anything about such?
We need to stop displaying this same behavior in our homes, children easily learn what they see other than what they are told.
Now do you expect things to be better when our same leaders, politicians behave in the HOA.? Our leaders are to be blaimed in this capacity for both we, the adults and the children see and hear them daily, so should we immulate their performances.
