UPDATE: Alcedo Tyson found guilty of murdering 'Kay Kay'

Following the announcement of the jury's decision, Justice Albert Redhead said any other verdict would have been "perverse". "You are an evil man," Justice Redhead told Tyson ina stern tone.
Sentencing has been set for July 12, 2013.
The expressionless Tyson stared at the relatives of Kwanna as he was being led away by law enforcers.
The tearful mother of Kwanna, Ms Mereen Mary Stoddard, told Virgin Islands News Online she felt justice was served. "I lost my daughter but today I feel that I have gotten some justice for her death." Several relatives and friends surrounded the still grieving mother.
Among those in the courtroom were Regional General Manager of Delta Petroleum Bevis Sylvester and more than a dozen of his staff members. Todd-Rhymer worked at Delta Patroleum at the time of her death. Mr Sylvester declined to comment to this news site but said he would rather wait for July 12, 2013 when the sentencing is expected.
Todd-Rhymer was found critically wounded in the CSY parking lot in Baughers Bay on the morning of March 16, 2012 and reportedly died before medical personnel arrived on the scene.
Tyson was the number one suspect in the shooting to death of the young woman and he had allegedly turned himself in to police.

Tyson’s attorney points to ‘glitches’ in evidence
- Crown Prosecutor Graham labels Tyson as “a cold blooded murderer”
The lawyer for murder accused Alcedo Tyson spent most of his time in the High Court this morning, June 24, 2013 seeking to establish discrepancies giving in evidence by eye witnesses about the lighting of the area where the alleged murder occurred and witnesses ability to see what they said they saw.
Mr Patrick Thompson also rode on the false statement one witness had given police when she had stated that she had hidden in nearby bushes and but later said that she didn't but had gotten into the back of a vehicle.
Tyson is being tried for the murder of Kwanna Todd-Rhymer aka Kay Kay, who was found critically wound in the CSY parking lot in Baughers Bay on the morning of March 16, 2012. Todd-Rhymer reportedly died before medical personnel arrived on the scene.
The crown is being represented by Senior Crown Councils Valston Graham and Leslie Ann Faulkner while the defence is being represented by attorney-at-law Mr Patrick Thompson.
During the trial the crown had called 12 witnesses, 3 of which were allegedly direct eyewitnesses. During his deliberations this morning June 24, 2013, Graham sought to especially establish the authenticity of the evidence led by the alleged eyewitnesses. He described Tyson as a cold blooded murderer.
Graham told the court that should the jury choose to reject the evidence given by especially the three eye witness, "We might as well all walk through the door now," adding that all that was necessary on the jurors' part were common sense and reasoning power.
He alluded to the extended time Tyson allegedly spent in one position, over 40 minutes, which Graham described as him taking as "real estate" position while in the Deuces nightclub and asserted that one could draw the conclusion that Tyson was staying focussed on Kwanna's movements.
Graham said that based on a message that was found on a mobile phone allegedly belonging to Tyson, one of the last things Ms Todd-Rhymer did was to extend an act of kindness to Tyson by offering him a drink, which he refused. "How did he repay her? With a shot in the neck and one in her stomach."
He also recalled on witness recalling Tyson allegedly saying to Kay Kay "You think I does play."
Defence attorney Mr Thompson was very brief in his closing arguments this morning. He was interrupted on more than two occasions by Graham on allegations of deliberately attempting to mislead the jurors.
Thompson pointed out that a witness who had claimed Tyson was wearing long pants that night when indeed he was wearing a short pants. The attorney also spoke to the importance of DNA testing in the matter, something that was allegedly not done by the crown.
The jury’s decision is expected sometime today.
