Well by the sounds of it i am going to have a hard job feeling bad for him. Sounds like two less theif on the street. But the shooter does also need to be taken off the street for possession of a gun.

If I recall correctly, you can have a licenced gun (business owners that is not sure about others having reason to possess one). Don't know who did the shooting so don't jump to conclusions.

Why the heck are you trying to have a hard time feeling sorry for him??? (and I say that even if it was my son, dem need to go find hard work to do), and as for the shooter, LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!!!!! He could have been the one with a tag on his toe in a freezer this morning instead of the bad guys. Up to now they aint find Donna killer yet???????

Matter of fact if someone was to ask for to organize a march in support of the shooter, I will be honored. It is time we stand up and say, we are not going to take this anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And in some of your other posts you claim to be christian! You just prove the worthlessness of any religion! But i will judge and say that i hope a strong message goes out to other wannabe thugs - you may be next!

What the heck!!!!!!!!! Christians don't want justice tooooooo?????? well sa That is the misconception, people feel that once you are a Christian, you should lay down and take whatever is coming to you. I'm a Christian that's all about tough love. The bible tells me that i should not spear the rod and spoil the child. Today too many parents spearing the rod at the expense of our children. If this kid was my son, he would not be thinking of dsoing such a thing because I got that rod so faaaar us his (you know what) stupidity is blocked from his brain.

billy b no march yet as it could have been your child or brother..no one should loose their life over a $200.00

So a christian should not take it laying down therefore it's ok to kill another one? Why did the other person have the gun? But for you as a so called christian to be on here praising a death goes against your own religion. But then you most likely fornicate out of wedlock, have numerous kids through different partners, go to work and spend the time you are paid to do your job doing something else (Stealing time), judge everyone - oh but you are christian!!!!!! And Billy B the word is spare not spear! For the 16 year old, I hope that if he recovers he is tried like an adult, for the shooter if he is an unlicenced firearm owner and was not shooting in self defence then I hope he is locked up for a long time!

To the poster commenting to billy b "@Billyb": What would you have said if the owner or another innocent person had gotten hurt or even loose their life by the hands of one of the robbers? What? You people amazes me. If some of these so called "PARENTS" would see about the wrong of their children many would not be up and down robbing innocent people. Too many "PARENTS" enable their children wicked and wrongful behaviours. It is time it stop. Let justice take its course in this matter. You should be sorry that the young man wasted his 19 years of life on earth instead of bashing another poster for his comment. His soul will be tormented day and night for eternity which is even worse. Imagine he did not even get a chance to repent and say Father God forgive me..... Wasted life! Hmmm - Food for thought!

When someone stick a gun in your face, stand up there and tell them you're a Christian and see how that works out for you. In America last month a woman lost her husband to cancer days after christmas and two weeks later she gave birth to their son. Two thieves came into her home (maybe she was targeted because she now lives alone) and while she was talking to 911 she aimed a riffle at one thief and shot him dead, the next one ran away and was apprehended hours later. I guess because I am "Christian", I should repremant her for protecting her new born baby and curse her because she had no reason to be in possession of a gun (how stupid does that sound). So the message here is, as long as you're Christian, don't you dare protect yourself (foolishness) For your information, my spouse and i have been married for 22 years and our five children were born into wedlock (no fornicating here). @jack be still, obviously you didn't read my first post concerning my son.

While i dont want to lay blame i must say one thing, robbers beware, for there are many people who are buying guns to protect their businesses and homes. I honestly think that, we need to give out licenses to persons who qualify or circumstances will occur where owners will take the law into their own hand, something that should be forbidden. May God bless the families.

The tables turn now, I always said it's only a matter of time. The Spanish guy on main street was rob of his own possession and kill for what is his and up to day the police had never put anyone behind bars for it. True saying you live by the sword you die by the sword. When you go in you have to know how you coming out. Young people God don't like ugly and he never sleep. Wake up. The minute you put foot on a man property you disrespecting them and the owner have all right to defend their property. Why you all think its right to just walk up to someone and take what is there, it's not yours leave it the hell alone man.

Everytime I hear something like this happen, my heart cries out. This could of been avoided. Yea we as a society could only do so much to raise our kids in the proper manner, it’s up to them to take their future in their hands after a certain age. He could of been a doctor, a lawyer, an architect etc but the path he chose was the one that lead to his demise. This should be a sad day in the Virgin Islands because a young life is lost which could have been saved. Sometimes spoken words of encouragement to young people can go a very long way. I don’t know him nor his family but my condolences go out to them, it’s never easy to lose someone no matter what path they chose in life, he was still a human being. Only God can judge him. I pray for all the young people out there who chose to live their lives recklessly with out a care in the world. Life is fragile, we need to make the best of it while we are here on earth and treat each other with respect and fairness. We need to love one another as God loves us.
