ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Unite BVI Foundation has launched an initiative aimed at empowering entrepreneurs throughout the Virgin Islands.

This challenge invites innovative thinkers to develop and implement solutions that not only protect the environment but also strengthen the local economy and create valuable opportunities within the territory.

$200K UP for grabs 

The foundation is offering up to $200,000 in funding to support small businesses for a duration of up to one year. This financial backing is designed to help entrepreneurs turn their ideas into viable business ventures that can contribute positively to the community.

Challenge now open 

The 2026 VI Purpose Fund Impact Challenge is now open to entrepreneurs in the Virgin Islands who are dedicated to creating impactful solutions focused on safeguarding and restoring ocean health. 

The challenge welcomes participation from a diverse range of individuals, including fishermen, farmers, builders, and creative problem-solvers.

The inaugural Impact Challenge was launched by Unite BVI and the VI Purpose Fund in 2025.
