LONDON, United Kingdom- As part of a major Cabinet reshuffle, United Kingdom Foreign Secretary has been demoted to Justice Secretary and replaced by Elizabeth M. Truss who was Trade Secretary.

Raab, whose disastrous handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal added to the humiliation and chaos of the Kabul evacuation, is the biggest sacking of the reshuffle so far.

But the Brexiteer is reported to have fought hard to stay in cabinet and was appointed Justice Secretary, replacing Robert Jenrick, and also managed to wrangle himself the title of Deputy Prime Minister as well as retaining the title of First Secretary of State.

Mr Raab had controversially stated that the Drugs (Prevention of Misuse) (Amendment) Act in the Virgin Islands is being further delayed due to the ongoing Commission of Inquiry.

Many were of the view that the assenting to the bill should have nothing to do with the CoI.

“It shouldn’t have anything to do with the other unless we are under direct rule, and we don’t know yet, unless our constitution has been suspended and we are unaware… so one should not lead to the other,” talk show host Angelle A. Cameron had said in April 2021.

Mr Raab had also found himself under the microscope in the UK, having refused to release legal advice to back his claim that the UK government’s £5bn-a-year overseas aid cut is lawful.

Difficult to tell. There are so many people that say this place is corrupt. Because it is.

You be fools if you think for one minute that London Bridge is fallin. Expect you never been to the UK to experience their political system and the due process.

Your right it’s not falling for some years to come but that’s another topic. It’s about to implode beforehand when the people get sick of being told what to do. They scrapped vaccine passports because the writing on the wall is clear. Who do you want to become?

You need to get your facts straight. Some here in the BVI continue to bash the UK when its clear that we cannot trust our own politicians.
