UFO spotted off JvD?

Just after 7:00 PM, today, February 27, 2023, persons on Jost van Dyke reported seeing a bright moving light in the sky. As photos of the sighting made the rounds on social media, some wondered if it was an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO). Photo: Facebook

GREAT HARBOUR, Jost van Dyke, VI- Just after 7:00 PM, today, February 27, 2023, persons on Jost van Dyke reported seeing a strange bright moving light in the sky. As photos of the sighting made the rounds on social media, some wondered if it was an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO).

Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) can confirm it was a rocket launch at Cape Canaveral in Florida at around 7:13 PM.

According to spacelaunchschedule.com, it was a Falcon 9 Block 5 – SpaceX rocket.

The mission was to launch a batch of 21 satellites into orbit for Starlink mega-constellation – SpaceX’s project for a space-based Internet communication system.

It is said to be the first launch of the “v2 Mini” version of Starlink satellites.

      So you believe the people that are on the international space station & satellites are floating inside the firmament??? And the rocket what, evaporated because the laws of physics were denied access to space? So I guess the 1 million + starlink subscribers are getting their internet access from little fairy’s creating RF frequency with their wands? I respect your beliefs and have my own. But speaking about something you can’t prove and challenging it by pretending that millions of people didn’t just watch the live physical footage of the rocket going into space, is ridiculous.     It was the second stage of Space X Falcon 9 separating 60 miles in the air over Florida. At that altitude we could see it.

      At that point is certainly wasn’t over Florida anymore. Rockets fly at an angle after launching, not straight up.

    @O.o I can tell what I am on and that's common sense. UFO ask yourself why are you paying to live on this Earth while every other live creature lives for free. When your smart you ask and question everything so any that question dummy.     Anything that is in the sky and is unknown is technically considered a UFO. So to some it was a UFO and to others it wasn’t.

    This was seen in Josiahs Bay too....not too sure how a Florida launch could be visible from as far as the BVI and USVI. As I heard it was seen over there as well.
