Two injured in test driving mishap at Pockwood Pond
According to reports reaching Virgin Islands News Online, the driver was taken on an elevated road above the public road at Pockwood Pond when he encountered a braking problem and skidded off the narrow road.
The vehicle, a Dodge SUV with license plate RT 2341, ended up rolling forward downhill through bushes and ended up on the public road.
The driver, an expat who is licensed to drive in his home country, was reportedly unhurt but two other persons in the vehicle were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The incident reportedly occurred sometime close to 11 A.M.
Persons on the scene said they were surprised that a certified test driver would take persons on that road since it was not a main access road and not in good condition.
One person jokingly said the driver passed his test because he exhibited good control and did not panic, which prevented a more tragic and even fatal result.
The vehicle suffered frontal damages.

Guess that learner will not get his license anytime soon.
The only smart person was the learner driver...they had on a seat belt the other allegedly didn't but thank God nothing serious happened.
