ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Despite the economic downturn, parents are doling out money to purchase presents for their children, stated Daresha Martin.

She has erected a tent in the vicinity of the Road Town roundabout, where dozens of dolls, cars, bikes, games, among others are on display.

According to her, business has been pretty good since “setting up shop” around 6 am this morning, Friday December 23, 2011.

“It’s a nice Christmas coming ahead …Dora, the cars these are the fastest selling items because you know kids like animated stuff,” she said with a smile.

So parents who are looking for affordable gifts can stop by Ms. Martin’s tent. She will be there until 10 pm.
