With our road condition it is totally irresponsible to rent scooters to tourists. A cruise passenger over Christmas had a terrible fall with a bicycle and sustained injuries to her face

Don’t rent motorcycles to persons who are not familiar with the condition of our roads.

is the legal speed limit for ALL the Virgin Islands primary public roads unless otherwise posted. 10mph for secondary public roads and 5mph for all other roads public or private.

So every driver in the BVI is always speeding and accidents happen everyday! Good for business though at the hospitals, private clinics, vehicle repair shops and the funeral homes. BVI government combines bad roads with lax law enforcement to stimulate the BVI economy. Thank you VIP
