We are so sorry this happened. We were on the CAT moored next to your Mom and Dad. My BIL and I had already entered the water and were outside the caves opening snorkeling while my wife, sister and other friends stayed on the boat. Our Captain saw the event unfold just a few feet off our stern and put out an emergency call. The medical response was unbelievable. ER Doctors, ER nurses, Family Practice Doc’s were on board in near minutes. Dennis was brought aboard our boat for all first responders to begin CPR. My wife and others did their best to comfort your mother after she came aboard. We do offer our condolences and are sending healing prayers in this unfortunate time. God Bless you ALL!!

I want to thank everyone who helped us on the day my husband died while snorkeling. His death was not related to snorkeling. He had a heart condition. His heart attack was inevitable. The police department, hospital, and rescue department in the BVI's were very professional and thoughtful of our needs and our loss. Albert Wheatley who is a Visitor Support Coordinator with the Tourist Board was the most helpful. He drove me to every facility and meeting I needed to work with to coordinate my husband's final days in the BVI and get him home. Everyone there made sure we were cared for and comfortable during this time.

These incidente are happenning too much in the virgin Islands. Government needs to educating people more about sea safety. There seems to be no lighting in areas, tourist and boaters look like they have no idea where they are going. This is getting sereous, get profesionals on board to do some training
