Tourist involved in motor scooter accident @ West End

WEST END, Tortola, VI- A tourist on a motor scooter has been involved in an accident at Freshwater Pond, and police and ambulance have responded.

The accident took place at the junction in the vicinity of Big Ben's Gas Station just before 10:00 AM.

It appears to be a lone motor scooter accident.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, the male tourist did not appear to be seriously injured and was on his feet.

Police were on the scene and an ambulance arrived shortly after.
