You know a situation is hopeless when the politics gets involved. The current set of 13 are the most useless in the history of modern times.

Though the recent incidents involving public transport systems, may be attributed to accidents they should set off the national tourism concern meter. Tourism is a major contributor to government revenue, as well as a major employer. As such the BVI must ramp up its effort to protect the tourism product. Images are powerful and perception can become reality. Unlike decades ago when information took months or even years to reach certain markets, today information travels at supersonic speed and is instaneous. Thus, all hands need to get on deck on ensuring a strong and safe public transport system. The Dept of Licensing, RVIPD, MCW, insurance companies, auto repair shops, colleges, schools, drivers, government........etc should huddle and come up with a plan to make this happen.

Moreover, though I'm neither an automotive engineer, automotive technologist nor an automechanic, I'm of the view that due to the VI's hilly terrain and environment that vehicles should be inspected more often and maintain more frequebnt
