Tola & Hodge crush USVI 92-76 in King of the Court B/Ball

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - Basketball fans and Government officials were out in their numbers last evening Friday, April 5, 2024, for the King of the Court Basketball League happening on Tortola in the Virgin Islands.

The games dubbed as the Caribbean Championship 2024, featured some six teams; including one from Virgin Gorda, with the games being played at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex in Road Town, Tortola. 

The crowd was all elated to have on the Tola team, former NBA player D’Moi M. Hodge who did not disappoint.

Mr Hodge had 8 rebounds, 6 steals and 3 assists.  On the USVI side Khalid S. Gerard had 6 rebounds and 2 assists. The final score was Tola 92 to USVI 76.

Meanwhile, in a more competitive game the Santo team defeated Virgin Gorda in a nail-biter 67-70. VG has their two fly-ins Randy M. George and Kimani T. Stevens on the team.

The games continue tonight Saturday, April 7, 2024, with the championship for $5000 prize money will be played tomorrow Sunday.  The Tola team is expected to win it all.
