This is mean-spirited and somewhat ungrateful. Where is the medal, of any type that you won for your country, village or tribe? Well done, young Mr. Frett. You have done an excellent job. Keep pushing forward.

    Congrats to the young man.

This situation needs to be addressed: the United States Virgin Islands (USVI) continues to use the name "Virgin Islands," on the international level. It's especially concerning to see athletes from the USVI wearing uniforms that simply say "Virgin Islands." This is misleading and, frankly, disrespectful. While our athletes from the Virgin Islands wear British Virgin Islands. This has been going on for too long now.

I am so proud of these young people. They ran their hearts out. To Tiondre, you are awesome, Young Man. You did well. You are a force to be reckoned with. J'Kyla, congratulations as well. Nice Job. To McKinzie, J'Den, and all the other members of the BVI Athletic Team, this year was even better than last year. Lots of you got much closer than you did last year. I encourage the entire team to practice your relay techniques. To be aware of where the passing lane ends and how fast and how close the incoming runner should be when you take off. You all are growing and doing well.

I encourage those students who have natural ability to come out and join the track teams. We have to be nationalistic in our thinking and want to go out there and represent the BVI. Wonderful Job. I can't wait for next year!!!
