Ting A Ling 2 & Libertas win Lowell Wheatley Anegada Pursuit Race

SETTING POINT, Anegada, VI- 11 boats took part in the 2026 Lowell Wheatley Anegada Pursuit Race on June 6, 2026. Starting in Road Harbour, the slowest boats set off first to be chased down by the quicker boats.

Libertas, skippered by Kevin Wrigley, reeled in the other two boats in the monohull class to get the win, arriving in Anegada just after 1:00 pm.  

The eight-boat multihull fleet included our regular Corsairs, who were joined by three Diam 24s. The Royal BVI Yacht Club was delighted to welcome Sam Normington and his crew of young ILCA sailors who had been across for the BVI Dinghy Championships last month.

The overall multihull win went to Chris Haycraft’s Ting a Ling 2.
