Three-vehicle collision slows traffic on James Walter Francis Drive

PASEA ESTATE, Tortola, VI – At around 3:00pm today, Saturday, March 11, 2023, a three-vehicle-collision on the James Walter Francis Drive in Pasea Estate, Tortola, resulted in police and paramedics being called to the scene to render assistance.

The accident occurred just at the beginning of the James Walter Francis Drive where an SUV collided with the back of a pickup and another vehicle on the highway.

Due to the three-car accident, Saturday traffic came to a slow with just one lane in use on the highway.

Eyewitnesses indicated that one person may have been taken by ambulance to the hospital.

    Don’t know why everyone is in such a rush. Some of them don’t even stop at the pedestrian crossings. They should have police officers or traffic (wardens if we have them), placed at each pedestrian crossing in the capital. They will wait until someone gets killed or severely injured, before they take action.

      And they should place Police Officers and Traffic Wardens at Stop signs, no parking areas at the stop lights and more to prevent motorists from violating the Traffic Laws and if they have other officers place one in each vehicle in the Capital to encourage drivers to drive safely. That's one of the problems here we want to be Policed in everything we do.
