BASSETERRE, St. Kitts- The Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis has confirmed that three nationals of Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Member States, specifically Jamaica and Belize, were expected to arrive in the Federation on May 19, 2026, following their transfer from the United States of America.
Their relocation is being facilitated under a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis and the Government of the United States of America, which provides for the transfer of certain third-country nationals who are citizens of CARICOM Member States.
Under the terms of the agreement, the transfer is being executed at no financial cost to the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis. Upon arrival, the individuals will be processed through standard immigration and security protocols and will be accorded the immigration status and legal provisions typically extended to CARICOM nationals within the Federation.
Authorities have confirmed that all relevant national security, immigration, and law enforcement agencies have been fully briefed and engaged in the process. Prior to transfer, the United States Government provided available biographical data as well as medical and criminal background information pertaining to the individuals.
