Thomas shoulders Joyce Samuel into BD B/Ball Final!

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Malachi Thomas led Joyce Samuel Primary School (JSPS) into the BD Basketball Inter Primary School Championship Game with 22 points in a 34-25 win over Ebenezer Thomas Primary at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex on Wednesday November 20, 2013.

A first quarter onslaught of fast attacking transitional play from JSPS gave them the ascendancy and they never looked back, romping to a comfortable victory. Apart from Thomas’ 22 points, Timothy Louis added 4 and Timoy Smith 3 points for JSPS.

Ebenezer Thomas Primary were led by  Shameik Lettsome (7 points) and Kn’Tenay Maduro (6 points). Sawn Morris also scored 6 while Malacki Smith scored 5.

In the other Play Off, Francis Lettsome Primary cruised past the Seventh Day Adventist School 40-19, with Makimba Fahie top scoring with 15 points. Kenya Penn added 14 and Rodorfo Pickering 7. For SDA, Enrique Jaffarally scored 7, Michael Ricketts 6 and Erismelly Ramirez 4.

The Championship Game will take place at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex from 10 A.M. on Saturday November 23, 2013.

Also on the card for the day will be a Skill Challenge and the All Star Game.
