Thieves break into NLB Church at Duffs Bottom

The incident allegedly occurred around 1 A.M. on the morning of Holy Saturday but was not discovered until the following morning of Easter Sunday, when it was immediately reported to the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF).
According to Bishop John I. Cline of the NLBC, the bandits appeared to be men and were masked. Bishop Cline disclosed that the church was not affected significantly but felt that the episode was "sad".
“It’s just sad that people would go to the length where they break into the church,” Bishop Cline stated.
The thieves reportedly entered the church building already wearing their masks and seemed to be aware of the presence of the church’s security cameras. They were also reportedly dressed in socks and slippers.
It remains unclear what method was used to gain entry to the church building.
Among the items stolen were a ceremonial ring and chain used during the Bishop’s official duties. Bishop Cline did not disclose the cost of either item that was discovered stolen.
The Bishop also remarked that it appeared that nothing was holy or sacred any longer in the society.
“These thieves have no sense of Godliness, no sense of conscience. To break into a church continually… that is sad,” he said.
A source indicated that based on the security footage reviewed of the incident, the bandits appeared to know exactly what they were about as they wasted little time in getting to the exact location of the stolen items.
Bishop Cline opined that the men may escape punishment on earth for their act but stated that hell would pick them up. His word of advice to the men was, “stop the nonsense, respect the house of God.”
The incident follows closely on the heels of the reported theft of another Bishop’s phone from the pulpit that he used to deliver his message at a New Year’s service earlier this year.

Shakeem didn't commit all, only about 30 or so. He plead guilty so what bull$+# are you talking about. What are his prints doing on homes where he was never invited? Some one took his hands off, used them for robbery and gave them back to him when done? Use common sense. There are hundreds of robberies here, he was linked to about 30 so obviously he couldn't be doing all. Let them continue, you will hear about them trust me.
I know who the person are and i shall not come forward with no information to no church members or pastor, they calling people sinners, we are all living in sin........................this place is down hell so who the pastor to judge...........them church people better stop riding each other off and then hiding it.
HAHA keep the information to yourself, don't worry, bet my last dollar they will be caught. You are just as bad as them and don't worry, Karma alone will deal with you. Your turn will come when you will ball and pray for people to come forward about something. This is material in this case, petty things. In your case it probably will be a lot worst, mark me. You are an @$$h@#*e!!
