The “so-called” elites rode on VIP’s back - Penn-O’Neal
According to the At Large Representative, when she listens to “our opponents of whom the VIP educated” it makes her want to refresh their memories of how they were able to be qualified academically.
And to her, speaking about who is academically qualified is just wrong. “Ladies and gentlemen they are out of order, because not everyone could be academically inclined. The VIP provided a programme to assist those who were not academically inclined. We have to show those good gentlemen, educated gentlemen - the elites - to know that it was us, the taxpayers that put them through the education system.”
“So they owe us a sense of gratitude, and we want them to know that we are very humble people. That is why the VIP is the party for the people, and of the people,” Hon. Penn-O’Neal added. “We are ordinary people who try to do extraordinary things for you the people.”
The popular politician also pointed out that her party is very “down to earth” which pales in comparison to the ‘other side.”
“We are not too big that we can’t sit with you. We sit on the corners; we sit at your homes. We sit everywhere with you. We are not too scared to meet you at any level, but try the other side they will be so uncomfortable, they will be uneasy. They will keep looking around because they don’t want to be there for too long,” disclosed the At Large representative.
Against this backdrop, Penn-O’Neal told supporters that while they may come and asked for their votes now, “Will they remember you when elected?”
