GREENLAND, Tortola, VI- The East End/Long Look festival village will come alive today, Tuesday, August 5, as the celebration of the grand opening of the village festival will take place at Greenland Field.

The village festival promises to be a festive hub filled with local artisans, delicious food, and unique cultural experiences. The opening ceremony is scheduled for 6:00 PM in Greenland, where the contributions of Mr William W. Penn will be honoured, followed by an exciting line-up of entertainment starting at 8:00 PM.

Entertainment tonight will be provided by Xclusive Sounds, Banco Bizmol, Ridge & Dirty Dawg Pudaz, Gyptian, and Boss. The host DJs will be DJ Dre and Selecta Taz.

The festivities will peak on Wednesday, August 6, with a Jouvert celebration, featuring a party truck and a “Jouvert truck” that will infuse energy and excitement into the day.

Parade

The parade, a highlight of the festival, will commence from Eastern Park at 1:00 PM, winding its way through the streets and drawing the community together in celebration.

As the parade makes its way to the village, activities will resume at 6:00 PM, ensuring that the festive atmosphere continues well into the night.

Entertainment for Wednesday night, dubbed 'Rhythm and Culture', will come from Razor Blades, Intrusive, and CP4. The hosts will be Heritage and Topman Kee.

The East End Long Look Festival officially made a return this year with an array of activities.

The committee held its first activity following the return of the festival on Sunday, August 3. The activity gathered fishermen, family, and friends for the most anticipated boat race, which commenced on Sunday at 10:00 AM, along with a delightful family fun day featuring games, activities, and food for all ages.

Any village can have their own Festival if they choose to. Sea Cows Bay is a small village and they can have their own Festival if they choose to.

The love seeing half naked bodies, instead of school, homeless shelters,a special needs school . All of these things are less important than carnival. Carnival, shows, and government freemasons function are way more important than WE THE PEOPLE. BOYCOTT EVERYTHING AND THE GOVERNMENT WILL GIVE EVERYONE WHAT THEY WANT. STOP WORSHIPPING MONEY AND THE GOVERNMENT CAN'T CONTROL YOU

@get to know the BVI history. This is history, naked women with no RESPECT for kids, elderly, your child. How you as a mother dancing almost naked around your Father, brother, uncle, son, husband's friend? Everyone don't have to wonder how you look naked they already can see you naked for carnival, and the beach. Beach aren't for kids either, women now a days are so insecure about themselves they rather buy fake butt, fake boobs, fake hair, fake eyes everything fake and walk around naked for attention. Stop following people on TV

Wait until the silly women start having permanent dye injected in their eyes to change the color of their eyes. You can always smell a woman that have a BBL, they stink bad. No matter how much shower, baths, perfume or scented lotions they put on the stink is still there. The stink is from the different type of fat that was removed from different parts of the body and injected in their behinds.

Tortola is one island. It should have only one set of festivities.

East needs to done with village and take their activities to the beach. I suggested this to Sandra Potter a few yrs ago, with a success plan, that includes fund raising..But seems like their little committee is so divided..Every body wants to be boss, it must be theee way. Done with this committee thing and get just one peeson to run the thing and hopefully that one will delugate willing community members..

@ the idiot with the government number. First you need to learn who your government sold their soul to. I will never trust anything from the government. History is his story okay. It's not mines. I am bit from Africa either. How did Africans sail to America and spoke to the American? How did they communicate because African can't understand American if they never been there. No books was around or schools at those times so you need to learn common sense and forget the freemasons indoctrinated books. Your kids don't even think for themselves school does that with the books
