On Friday 19th September, commencing at 10 a.m., the opening ceremony will feature Kenrick Headley Jr., Owner and Founder of Nova Vita Apparel and Print, as the Featured Speaker, inspiring attendees with his journey as a young entrepreneur. During this ceremony, the Chamber will also present the prestigious Chamber Hero Award, honouring a business leader who has made a lifetime of exceptional contributions to the Virgin Islands’ business community and economic development.

“The Buy BVI Trade Expo is all about celebrating our people. It is a chance for the community to support local businesses, discover new talent, and be proud of the creativity and determination that make the Virgin Islands shine,” said Dawn Leonard, Executive Director of the BVI Chamber of Commerce.

Throughout the two-day event, guests can explore exhibitor booths, enjoy the Buy BVI Fashion Show on Saturday, September 20 at 1:00 p.m., and celebrate local excellence at the Exhibitors Awards Presentation later that day at 5:00 p.m. Awards will be presented for Best Business Pitch, Most Creative Booth, and People’s Choice. 

Adding to the excitement, attendees can look forward to door prizes, special surprises, and a fully stocked concession.

“This Expo shows the best of who we are as Virgin Islanders. It is exciting to see so much innovation and talent on display, and we cannot wait to welcome the public to share in this celebration,” added Shaina Smith-Archer, Chairman of the BVI Chamber of Commerce.

The Executive Director also expressed special thanks to the generous support of sponsors including AZP Productions, Republic Bank, Smith and Associates, CIBC, Unite BVI Foundation, National Bank of the Virgin Islands, and Japhix Integrated Multimedia Solutions, and donors. Admission is free of charge.
