JOSIAH'S BAY, Tortola, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is said to be investigating the discovery of a loaded firearm by a tenant of a property in Josiah's Bay.

According to information reaching our newsroom, a man was in the process of changing the tank of a water pump on Sunday, March 7, 2021, when he allegedly discovered the weapon wrapped in a bandana.

The individual allegedly alerted one of his neighbours about the find and police were subsequently called in.

Investigators reportedly found a partly rusted silver handgun loaded with live rounds.

Investigations continue.
