It may speed things up. It can't get any slower.

All gov systems were down from last week, you could not get your vehicles licenced, and no one has said anything to John Public.

The technical issue is the staff and processes. These departments exist to frustrate people. The senior officers are more interested in reminding you that they are in charge than actually getting their work done. You cannot have people in these positions that have no clue about how businesses work. Businesses are waiting 3 and 4 months to bring specialized staff for no good reason and it's especially worst for seasonal businesses. Imagine being a hospitality business waiting on permits for specially trained staff since October and you are now in January. The main part of the busy season ends in April. The BVI has so much potential but the technocrats who never ran a candy shop in their life are the ones causing the trouble. To those who think getting rid of 'ALL 13' is the answer, THINK AGAIN! The 13 have changed time and time again but the attitudes and failed processes continue.

This and many other reason are why we have no serious investment in the territory, and, never will.

Because the usual blistering pace Labour maintains wasn't enough to rival a fine French racing snail?

I’m sitting in Labour Dept now.

“System down” they say. We all wait for 15 minutes…

“Ok let’s go!” System is up…

Can they find the documents? Of course not. Why would they be all put in the same place or file in order?

They have gone to an other room to look now.

What year are we in again? SMH
