‘Team BVI’ arrives in Grenada for 51st CARIFTA Games

ST GEORGE’S, Grenada- The [British] Virgin Islands (VI) athletics team has arrived in Grenada for the 51st edition of the CARIFTA Games set to begin on March 30, 2024.

The VI are fielding 25 athletes minus sprint phenom Adaejah T. Hodge at the 4-day event in St George’s.

The VI team departed these shores via Terrence B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island this morning, March 28, 2024.

According to General Secretary Stephanie Russ Penn, the 51st CARIFTA Games will be one of the largest ever, with over 800 athletes from some 28 countries scheduled to compete.
