The way that pole is broken, I am glad it didn't fall on top of the taxi, now that would have been really horrible.

If I was a tourist, I would never step foot in a pick up truck with seats bolted on the sides and a tent for a roof if I needed taxi service.

Driver lost control of PICK UP TRUCK/TAXI causing it to roll back into utility pole. Ok, if you say so.

Another reason to review medical care in Jost. How was the tourist treated?

A well-rested and sober person, driving the speed limit and paying due care and attention could not manage this.

Jost Van Dyke now have sooo much vehicles fire police Clenic 2 rental company private vehicles a barge service that carry vehicles back and forth, even by that corner where that accident took place the taxes always stop for tourists to take photos of the beach regardless of whatever traffic is coming or going,I guess to secure their tips while endangering their guests and others, and Jost Van Dyke do not have even as much as one traffic sign. U can park over fire hydrant, park at any sharp corner no sign telling tourists steep hill nothing at all.no sign saying slow school zone,

You sure got that right, something like that should not be approved as a taxi. A freaking pickup truck with seats welded in the bed of the truck with a tarp over the top. That is so embarrassing. He claim it is a taxi that transport people. I can bet my last dollar the driver does not have a FIRE EXTINGUISHER in the truck in the event of an emergency.

Taximen are supposed to be professional drivers. This is their profession. The should be the best drivers in the territory yet I find them to be most often the worst. Never use turn signals, stop anywhere in traffic to pick up or discharge passengers, cant see at night so drive with high beams all the time. I can go on and on but for the most part Tortola Taxi drivers give the profession a bad name.

This taxi operator has been involved in numerous accidents over the years. He crash the same way over by taboo and someone got hurt in that one too. His vehicle wind up in the water by the ferry dock. His vehicle run down the hill up by the church and yellow broke his leg jumping out. Y’all must be waiting for him to kill somebody before you tell him it’s time to stop drive.
