VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI- The British Virgin Islands’ signature culinary showcase, Taste of Virgin Gorda, returns in 2026 with what the BVI Tourist Board and Film Commission (BVITBFC) has labelled an exciting new chapter, Dockside Dining – Small Bites, Big Flavour, bringing together Virgin Gorda’s dynamic food culture, live entertainment and a vibrant waterfront setting for one unforgettable evening.

The highly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, at the newly enhanced Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour.

A production of the BVI Tourist Board & Film Commission (BVITBFC) in partnership with the Virgin Gorda community, Taste of Virgin Gorda – Dockside Dining will spotlight the island’s culinary excellence through an immersive tasting experience featuring 12 restaurants, a Farm-to-Table Demonstration Tasting Trail, and an energetic Pop-Up Mixology Bar.

Guests will enjoy an array of creatively curated small bites and signature dishes, complemented by first-class musical performances, all set against the picturesque dockside atmosphere of one of Virgin Gorda’s premier waterfront destinations.

New venue

Previously hosted at the historic Nail Bay Ruins, the event has moved to Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour in response to the continued growth of the festival, including an increase in participating restaurants and consistently strong attendance from both visitors and residents.

“This event continues to highlight the creativity and quality of Virgin Gorda’s culinary community, while offering residents and visitors a vibrant way to experience the island,” said Clive L. McCoy, Director of Tourism for the British Virgin Islands, in a press release.

“Taste of Virgin Gorda is a true celebration of our food, our people and our culture, and Dockside Dining reflects the dynamic energy of the BVI’s culinary scene while paying homage to our versatile marine product. We are also very pleased to welcome back several of our luxury resorts, further elevating an already outstanding event,” McCoy added.

Guests are encouraged to dress Resort Chic and enjoy an evening of food, drinks and entertainment against the scenic backdrop of the harbour. The evening’s experience will be interspersed with live culinary demonstrations, music by DJ Quanie and live musical performances by the Hardcore Band and saxophonist Syothesax.

There is NOTHING enhanced about the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbour! Do we have any shame? Look at YHG right across the waters then look at VGYH which was supposedly refurbished after Hurricane Irma damages. The place looks no different to the old Palm Grove Center before Irma blew it to bits.
