The scholarships, which are being backed by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, are prestigious scholarship offerings with an opportunity to pursue full degree programmes (Bachelors, Masters & Doctorates) as well as short Chinese (Mandarin) language courses at renowned Universities in Taiwan.

According to the Government of the Virgin Islands, in a press release today, February 26, 2026, VI applicants with a United Kingdom or British Overseas Territory Passport (VI) are eligible to apply. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their applications by the deadline on March 31, 2026.

Interested persons are being encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to study in Asia to gain valuable knowledge and skills, broaden their horizons, and contribute to their personal growth.

Aspiring BVI Asia Abroad Scholars are encouraged to contact the BVI Hong Kong Office and submit their applications by March 31 at studyinasia@bvihongkongoffice.com.hk.

'International study centre for outstanding students'
