Sylvanna Charles heads to universal teen pageant

Sylvanna Charles will be representing the Virgin Islands at the Miss Teen Universal Pageant in Barbados.
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Former Miss Teen BVI 2010 and reigning Miss Caribbean Talented Teen AXA 2011, Sylvanna Charles will be competing in the Miss Teen Universal Beauty Pageant on November 6, 2011.

Charles departed the Territory yesterday for the pageant which will be held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Center in Barbados.

The other international delegates who will be competing in the pageant are from Bardados, Nicaragua, Puerto Rico, Trinidad & Tobago, Northern Bahamas, Columbia, Dominican Republic, and Canada.

Sylvanna would like to take this opportunity to thank her faithful, loyal supporters and fans for making it possible for her yet to follow one of her dreams. Ms. Charles said, “It’s a beautiful time to be a teenager in the British Virgin Islands. Thank you, BVI.”

      She is going because this was what she was entitled to by winning last year's Ms. Teen Bvi. The current winner will get to go next year.
