ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – An affordable and effective shopping and shipping agency has opened its doors in the Virgin Islands (VI) and according to its Sales and Marketing Executive Aaron Parillon – SwiftPac is all about quality.

“We decided to open SwiftPac because too many persons are complaining about the existing service and the high prices of getting their packages…SwiftPac is dedicated to bring reasonable and affordable prices to its customers and our motto is to send it fast,” Parillon told this news site yesterday afternoon, April 17, 2012 at a “soft” opening of the company.

Located in the JML building, Road Town, SwiftPac has the edge over its competitor because it offers to take and receive packages throughout the Caribbean, Latin America and the United States, according to Parillon.

Other services SwiftPac will be offering its customers include SwiftPac Express and weekly shipments; online package tracking with automatic alerts; best rates available; ocean and air cargo services; free US shipping address and shopping card service.

“This is an exciting venture and we are pleased to provide this kind of service to the BVI,” Parillon added.

There's nothing wrong with a little competition......Everybody has a right to choose what they want not only one man must eat all the food!

Typical BVI mentality, nothing wrong with the white man building his business off our backs but a local steps into the arena, even offering totally different services to the current one and its a problem. Then we same ones sit down like a**holes scratching our heads and asses wondering why we cant get any farther than being workers at these establishments who can be let go at a whim. Stupid stupid stupid set of people! You don't have to like them, but they're local and have the right to operate whatever business they please. Competition is always good and I'm sure the competitor that is running things right now is happy for the new entrant so they can be kept on their toes. Aaron, don't mind the noise you will be successful in all you do, keep your head on bro!

I went by Tortola Express for them to order something for me and it was like I had to pay for it doube and still pay to clear it. Aaron please try and do better. Don't forget EZONE they are another set it seems like that was introduced to help put money into our revenue collection. Yes we know that you will have to raise prices but please don't be like Tortla Express and all the others with thier high end price. GOOD luck on your new venture. All the best.

While I welcome the competition, you guys just need to remember swiftpac isn't locally owned. Just like Fedex, eZone, Four star (Tortola Express) and the rest its a US based company which branches off around the world. Just don't speak to quick because you might run right back to where you once were!!! Just remember they are only agents of Swiftpac and have to make enough to pay out and still have enough leave for them selves!!!

What does it matter if there is competitiion? People have choices that will be made on be prices, location, convenience, customer service or a combination of many. One doesn't have to WIN. It doesn't matter to many whether the owner is local or white. Business is acheived by providing the customers with what they want.
