This week while driving up a hill where the vehicles heading down had to stop so that the approaching vehicles could pull on the side by the little opening (one lane partially closed), a scooter came zooming from behind the vehicle that stopped and almost hit into the vehicle heading up (overtaking around the corner) had the driver heading up not make a sharp turn to avoid hitting.

Looks like the suv was turning left, not right, as the article implies. Which means the scooter was not to blame for this collision.

I am very frustrated with the way some of these young men ride these scooters but in this instance, the young rider was not at fault. He was not riding recklessly nor was he speeding. He was headed in the direction of the Sunday Morning Well. The SUV was going in the opposite direction. As both vehicles approached long bush junction the jeep swung right into the path of the scooter. I cannot remember if the driver of the jeep indicated. What saved this young man from sustaining serious injuries was the fact that he was not speeding so instead of being thrown over the vehicle, he fell on the hood before falling on the road surface. It was a relief when he stood up. It appeared he hit his head though. Hope he leant something from this incident. For those who did not see what happened, stop making negative comment.
