CANE GARDEN BAY, Tortola, VI- The season has turned out to be not so merry for the owner of an SUV that caught afire on Windy Hill, Tortola, on Thursday, Morning, December 15, 2022.

According to reports reaching our news centre, the vehicle, a Nissan Murano, caught afire as it was heading up Windy Hill.

Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Services officers raced to the scene; however, the inferno gutted the vehicle.

The tires of the vehicle; however, remained intact.

There were no reports of injuries.

The incident was confirmed by Chief Fire Officer Zebalon A. McLean.
