VALLEY, Virgin Gorda, VI - Information coming into Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that Virgin Gorda (VG) police are now on the hunt for two known men who allegedly attempted to torch an apartment building early last evening June 11, 2021, at around 9:30 pm.

Sources told VINO that a resident of the VG apartment building who was awakened to the smell of gasoline, spotted the two youths allegedly dousing the apartment complex with the fuel and raised an alarm.

The two men on realizing that had been caught in the act, then reportedly started hurling explicit language at the resident and moved to vandalize the building by breaking a window.

Police are said to be actively searching for the two youths who were identified and are allegedly now on the run.

When caught , attempted murder should be one of the charges. Hopefully they will be locked away for a very long time..

Why not post their pictures. Shouldn’t be too hard to identify them once we know how they look.

Another example of the VI protecting the criminals. No description of the perpetrators, not even that of their attire.
Arson is a very serious offense. The perpetrators were willing to have people ,including children, suffer an excruciating death.
We are left to conclude that in the territory there is,often times, an effort by law enforcement to cover for the criminals.
