Suspect in Miya Marcano missing case commits suicide

ORANGE COUNTY, Florida, USA – One of the key suspects in the missing case of the Virgin Islands' 2012 Prince and Princesses contestant, Miya Marcano, has committed suicide

Orange County Sheriff's Office, Florida has reported that Armando Manuel Caballero, age 27, was found dead today. It is believed he committed suicide.

While Maya is still missing, Caballero was considered a key suspect in Miya's disappearance.

The now-dead suspect was a maintenance worker at the Arden Villas apartments where Miya lives, works and was last seen on Friday, September 24, 2021.

Caballero had a romantic interest in Miya - Florida Police

In an update this afternoon, Sheriff John Mina provided an update on the disappearance of 19-year-old Miya Marcano where he said that Caballero had indicated a romantic interest, however, the young lady rejected his proposals. 

While Sheriff John said the force suspects foul play at work, family members pleaded for Miya to return home should she be alive and well. 

The Orange County Sheriff's Office said they continue to work around the clock to investigate the case and find Miya safe and alive.

    One can easily conclude, that he is guilty and the feds were onto him, he couldn't take the heat...One can also conclude using these facts that he killed her.....Very sad, heap a mad men around, ladies be careful who you love and hang out with...

    If he committed suicide, more than likely she is no longer with us. If someone is not interested in someone why would you bring harm to that person.

    A bunch of mad men. And the thing is, she did not want anything to do with him and he probably killed her. Being he worked at the complex, he took the master key, went into her apartment, killed her and put her body in his trunk and drove away with her without anyone noticing anything.

    It's really sad my heart are with the family and also her friends and the people of the British Virgin Island but I am saying if there was a report against him concerning the young lady why the company didn't just let go of him so if anything happened to her i will blame the company i prayed for her safe return.
