PROSPECT REEF, Tortola, VI – “It’s time we start supporting our own and let the money stay here,” said USVI international artiste ‘Pressure’ at the locally promoted event ‘Bridging the Gap’ on Sunday March 1, 2015.

The event was said to have been organised by, 'Time is Time Promotions' and 'Irie VI Entertainment' to highlight the unity that exists among the people of the Virgin Islands.

Held at La Pizza Reef, a sizable audience turned out while the stars were yet twinkling, the moon bright in all its glory and stayed on even when the dark clouds covered and intermittent showers watered the opened-air venue.

“We must be each other’s keeper, staying together keep the money home, here in the VI we are one people let’s do this,” Pressure urged.

‘Pressure’ was one of three artistes from sister territory USVI that blazed the stage alongside locals such as Sistah Joyce, Shine I, B’More, Mackabee and Drastic.

Yes support your own is like empowering your own and you too may benefit as such. At times there will be foreign artists but when your own performs the dough stays right here.It may be recirculation into the stores, shops, schools, churches, non profit organisations, etc. TO ALL I SAY SUPPOSED YOUR OWN SUPPOSED LOCAL TALENT ALWAYS
