ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Summer Sizzle BVI, a Caribbean fashion and lifestyle event held annually in the Virgin Islands (VI), will be opening its 2019 casting call tomorrow Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Save the Seed Energy Center in Duffs Bottom, Tortola.

The organisation is interested in male and female models and children ages 4 - 12 years old. The casting for children will open at 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm and adult casting from 6:30 pm through 8:30 pm.

“To audition, female models, are required to bring three or four-inch heels along with a swimsuit and should wear minimal make-up with their hair pulled away from the face into a ponytail. Male models must also bring a swimsuit,” the organisation noted.

11 Years of Fashion & Lifestyle 

With the 11th edition of the annual Summer Sizzle BVI scheduled for July 25 – 28, 2019, the organisation says, “Summer Sizzle BVI remains a highly anticipated event, attracting fashion and travel influencers, press, celebrities, entertainers and visitors. All come eager to experience this spectacular event in our amazing islands.”

The four-day event will include fashion shows, festive parties, delightful cuisine, entertainment and a chartered sailing excursion with the ‘Glamour Runway Show’ remaining the highlight of the event, showcasing both international and emerging fashion designers.

See below for the 2019 schedule of events starting July 25, 2019:

  • Thursday, July 25 – Welcome Culture & Style Opening Party at the D’Coal Pot BVI Restaurant Bar & Grill, Carrot Bay, Tortola
  • Friday, July 26 – Style Gala – to be announced
  • Saturday, July 27 - Global Glamour Runway Show at the Save the Seed The Energy Center, & VIP After Party at Aromas at Tortola Pier Park
  • Sunday, July 28 - Sailing Excursion to Jost van Dyke & Beach Party
