Summer Sizzle BVI ‘a great success’- Terry T. Donovan

The annual fashion and lifestyle destination event was held from July 27 – 30, 2023, and the signature event, The Global Glamour Runway Show, was hosted by Mrs Joy M. Reid, a top media Personality from MSNBC.
‘Great success’
“Summer Sizzle BVI was a great success and we are thrilled to see the event continue to grow and attract visitors to experience BVI and continue to make a global footprint,” Donovan told our news centre today, July 31, 2023.
Speaking about Mrs Reid, Donovan said she was a “phenomenal host” and was gracious, personable, and a delight to work with.
‘Amazing weekend’- Joy M. Reid
Mrs Reid has already commented that she had “an amazing weekend” in the [British] Virgin Islands and that her introduction to the territory couldn’t have been more fabulous.
Mrs Reid also praised the fashion show as one that was comprehensive and fascinating from a behind-the-scenes perspective.
“I was proud to host the Global Glamour Runway Show and it was fascinating to see such a comprehensive production from behind-the-scenes. I will leave BVI as a huge fan of the incredible sea-focused culture, the warm, wonderful people my husband and I met all weekend, and the incredible talent and drive of Virgin Islanders. Can’t wait to come back!” Mrs Reid exclaimed.
Summer Sizzle BVI continues to grow!
Summer Sizzle BVI was established in 2009 by Donovan as a Fashion and Lifestyle Event, intended to promote the VI and attracting visitors during the slower off-peak season. Inspired in part, by New York Fashion Week and the breathtaking beauty of the VI, his vision has evolved into a fabulous fashion and entertainment destination experience with an international flair, attracting fashion industry professionals and leisure travelers from around the world.
The main event, “The Global Glamour Runway Show” is a leading platform, dedicated to showcasing Fashion and Art from world-renowned designers, talented rising-star designers, and artists.
Over the years the event has attracted celebrities, fashion and travel influencers such as: Taraji P. Henson, Nigel Barker, Eva Marcille, Tanika Ray and Cornelius Smith Jr, Claire Sulmers, and Joel Steingold.
