Students of First Impressions Primary hold elections on Election Day!
With their own creations of billboards, stickers, ballots and ballot boxes in hand, winning candidates were chosen from among their peers.
According to a press release from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) today, April 25, 2023, one of the teachers even requested the help of an officer from the Royal Virgin Islands Police to “ensure that the elections process was carried out peacefully”.
Constable Omanny Joe willingly stopped by the school to provide the needed assistance while on patrol around the various election polling stations in the district.
