STS Rippers prevail in bowling tourney

DUFFS BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Another action packed Tuesday Night at the Save the Seed Energy Centre saw the STS Rippers cling onto to top spot in the BVI Amateur Bowling Association’s Handicap Bowling League despite losing two games.

As week 6 action concluded in the League (Tuesday March 4, 2014) at Save the Seed Energy Centre, the STS Rippers maintained their first place position as they took the first two games from the Matrix Rollers and losing game 3 by 10 pins.

The Strikers also won 2 of their 3 games against the Pin Killers. Their loss also came in the third game by a mere 1 pin.
Both the STS Rippers and the Strikers are to be commended as both teams started each game with a 67 and 103 pins deficit respectively.

    There was a Bowling competition held last weekend with teams from st croix etc. at this same venue. What happen to the results and highlights of those games?? Is it because we lost?? Come on now we have better sportsmanship than that. I am glad to see we are doing other sporting events but I think for a event with visitors it should have been posted!!
