STS Rippers dominating local Bowling

DUFF'S BOTTOM, Tortola, VI – Save the Seed Rippers continued to knock over their competition in the BVI Bowling Association Annual Co-Ed League on Tuesday February 25, 2014, with a 3-0 win over the Matrix Rollers at the Save the Seed Energy Centre in Duffs Bottom.

The B.V.I. Bowling Association annual coed league started on January 28, 2014 at Save the Seed Energy Center in Duff's Bottom with four teams: Strikers, Save the Seed Rippers, Matrix Rollers and Pin Killers.

Last week Tuesday, February 18, 2014, Save the Seed Rippers literally ripped the Strikers apart to win all three games of the series. The STS Rippers won the three game scratch series by 180 points and a handicap series win by 255 points. Top scores for single game were the ladies Cresentia Jn. Baptiste of Strikers with 209 pins and Violet de Castro of STS Rippers with 200 pins.

The second game on that evening was between the Matrix Rollers and Pin Killers. Matrix Rollers won the series 2 to 1. Top scores for single game were Kai de Castro with 210 pins and Benthley Roach with 189 pins, both of Pin Killers team. 

On February 25, 2014, Save the Seed Rippers took on the Pin Killers. The Pin Killers suffered the same fate as the Strikers as the STS Rippers took all three games again. Top scorers for single game were Alberto Wheatley of STS Rippers with 202 pins, Otto Leacock of STS Rippers with 190 pins and Norville Braithwaite of Pin Killers with 190 pins. 

The second game last evening was between the Strikers and Matrix Rollers with the Strikers winning two of the three games. Top scores for single game were Bernard Grant of Strikers with 198 pins and Titus Laurencin also of the Strikers with 174 pins.
